Paje is one of the best places in the world to learn to kite, and the reason is the reef: it holds a shallow, flat lagoon that stays waist-deep a long way out, so a bad day means standing up rather than being dragged out to sea.

Six hours of IKO-certified tuition across two mornings gets a complete beginner riding. After that the gear is there when you want it and the afternoons are yours.

The wind is seasonal, roughly mid-June to mid-October, and late December to mid-March. We will tell you plainly if your dates fall outside it.
