Kilimanjaro, Serengeti & Zanzibar

Sixteen days: climb the mountain, cross the Serengeti, then stop moving entirely. The whole of Tanzania in one trip.

Eight days on Lemosho, the route with the best acclimatisation profile and therefore the highest success rate, then two days to recover before the parks, then the Serengeti, then the island.

The recovery days are not padding. People who go straight from the summit into a safari vehicle spend the first two game drives asleep, and the beach at the end is what turns a fortnight of effort into a holiday.

This is the longest trip we run and the one people talk about afterwards. It needs booking well ahead: the good camps on Lemosho and the best island rooms both go early.
