This applies to all land portions and services/activities where applicable. Flights will depend on the fare class – your Tanzanian Safari Expert will consult you on this matter. |
With the continued impact of COVID-19 on global travel, Resania remains focused on the safety of our guests, both current and future. The present situation in Africa is that most destinations are open, albeit with some inbound restrictions.
Not only is safari one of the best ways you can travel during the pandemic – your trip has a direct impact on protecting wildlife, conserving habitats, employing people in rural communities, and educating children across Africa
We’re happy to share that some of our clients and staff have been travelling through Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in the past year. Not only have they experienced once-in-a-lifetime trips, but they’ve also reported great comfortability and assurance with the health and safety precautions in place.
We're excited to report that our confirmed number of bookings have been on the increase since the start of 2021. This suggests increased confidence in travellers looking to venture out into the world again. Furthermore, the increase in enquiries we have seen indicates a recovery in the interest for inbound Tanzanian travel.
During 2020, we were heartened to witness over 90% of our clients deferring their trips as needed – a very important element in ensuring our partner lodges and camps continue their conservation efforts and support the communities in which they operate. They play a very important role in everything from managing anti-poaching programmes to employing people in regions where paying one person often means feeding ten. With our travellers rescheduling their trips, these important initiatives remain intact.
We are feeling the positive momentum here in Tanzania and look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful country. We believe Tanzania is one of the safer destinations, both in terms of COVID-19 protocols adhered to at our personally vetted lodges and the wide-open landscapes they are located in.
We are committed to creating once-in-a-lifetime trips while supporting conservation, communities and sustainability in Africa, now more than ever.
