When is the best time for beach vacation?

If you are going for a beach vacation in Tanzania  the most popular place to spend lazy beach days is Zanzibar. Zanzibar is a magical paradise island just two hours ferry ride  or 30 minutes with flight outside the coast of Dar es Salaam. But when is the best time to go there?

That is actually depending a bit on what you prefere. 

- June to Octber is a bit cooler which might be preferable if your used to colder climate. But it´s not cold. The temperature will still come up to 30 degrees in the day but in the evening it can be a bit more chilly.

- November and December is quite warm. It can come some short showers during the day. But they usually go away as fast as they came. After that the sky will become blue again. 

- Hot season will start in January and go on until March. During this time it´s hot and dry in both day and night time.

- Rainy season. The rainy season usually goes on from April until the end of May. During this time it´s coming heavy rains every day for a longer period of time. Therefore we would not like to recommend you to travel during this time if your looking for a sunny beach vacation.
